We recently filmed David and Helen’s wedding at St Patrick’s church in Southport. Then it was on to the Southport convention centre for the reception. The room was amazing, it was a cross between a children’s party and a fairy tale wedding (with a racing car theme). To keep the mini guests entertained each table had personalised ballons and a good bag too. The cake was made out of lots of fairy cakes and certainly went down a treat with all guests (and suppliers…thanks David & Helen). That wasn’t the only cake though, it was also David & Helen’s daughter’s birthday, so we added a nice bonus feature of her being sung to by over 200 people and blowing out the candles. There was so much entertainment at this wedding, a casino, a disco a 80′s band, the night was rounded off with chinese lanterns. We would like to thank David & Helen and wish them all the best for the future.

Chris & Paula

We had a lot of fun with Chris & Paula. They got married at St Chad’s Church in Kirkby, Merseyside, which had a stunning setting, on the hottest day of the year. The reception was at one of our favourite venues, Formby Hall golf club. Where they had opted for a motorbike theme for the table names cake. It was a very sunny day and all the guests had a incredible time, and just on a personal note, we were very well looked after as well, so thank you and congratulations to Chris & Paula.

Kevin & Kim

We recently filmed a wedding for Kevin & Kim, who were having a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Following the serving of tea, we then went to the stunning Sefton Park, in Liverpool, where we filmed a fun photo-shoot. After the photo-shoot we moved to the Tai Pan Chinese restaurant, where more Chinese traditions ensued, one of which was the groom lighting a rope of firecrackers, which was extremely loud and a number of guests (and videographer) ducked for cover! The meal afterwards was amazing and we couldn’t be any more grateful to Kim and Kevin for organising that for us.

Freeman & Dawn

Freeman and Dawn were guests at a wedding we filmed in 2009, we were very impressed when they asked us if we were available the following year (before they saw a single shot we had done), and luckily we were.

They got married at St Werburgh’s Church, which is a beautiful classic Church in Chester, with a very accommodating Vicar who was that happy with our professionalism he took a card from us and said he would highly recommend us. We then went to the stunning Reception at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel, where everyone had a fantastic time to some classic songs.

David & Carrie – Knowsley Hall

We did some miles this day, the preparation took place at Stanley house and the wedding service took place at the beautiful St Leonards in Blackburn, we then had a hour and a half drive to the amazing Knowsley Hall, in Merseyside. It was a stunning day, with a lovely couple, who did everything you could imagine to entertain their guests.

Alaine & Karl – Highlights

This was a very special wedding and one we were looking forward to. Alaine & Karl were the winners of the Dune FM & The Wedding Rooms contest in 2009, where the prize was to win a wedding. After meeting Alaine & Karl we can see why they won a contest based on a public vote.

The day was perfect, the service took place in a beautiful church in Southport and the reception was at the The Royal Clifton.

We would also like to mention the entertainer they had on known as “Tony Macaroni”. A really good wedding video DJ, who has all the latest music videos and will also project images up from the day from any phone or memory card.
