By Rail

Take the Train to Southport Station. From the station turn left onto Chapel Street and walk to the end of this road. Turn right onto Eastbank Street, you should see the Scarisbrick Hotel straight in front of you. Turn left at the main Traffic lights, and the Prince of Wales hotel is 200 yards on the left hand side (opposite Argos).

From Motorway

From the South – M6 to J26, take the M58 to Ormskirk, then follow A570 to Southport. Head for the centre turn left at the Junction with Lord street, the Prince of Wales hotel is on the left.

From the North – M6 to J31, follow the A59 from Preston joining the A565 to Southport. Head for the centre turn left at the Junction with Lord street, the Prince of Wales hotel is on the left.

With expert advice available on hand from all exhibitors and Formby Hall wedding planners, you’ll be sure to find the visit worthwhile.

It starts at 12pm – 4pm, with free parking at the resort and there are complimentary drinks on arrival. Their bar and restaurant will be open for you to purchase drinks and light snacks.

How to get there:

Train

The nearest train station is Ormskirk which is a mile and a half away. Ormskirk has links with Liverpool Lime street (30 mins) which has direct routes to London and Manchester.

Car

Hurlston Hall Golf Club is situated just off the A570, approximately six miles from Southport and two miles from Ormskirk. Easily accessible from the M58 and A59, approximately 30 minutes from Liverpool.

They got married at  St Werburgh’s Church, which is a beautiful classic Church in Chester, with a very accommodating Vicar who was that happy with our professionalism he took a card from us and said he would highly recommend us.  We then went to the stunning Reception at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel, where everyone had a fantastic time to some classic songs.

The day was perfect, the service took place in a beautiful church in Southport and the reception was at the The Royal Clifton.

We would also like to mention the entertainer they had on known as “Tony Macaroni”.   A really good wedding video DJ, who has all the latest music videos and will also project images up from the day from any phone or memory card.

Our new AmberTrack service allows you to login and see how your video is progressing. You can also see preview clips, and once your film is finished you can even share highlight clips with far away family or friends, who can leave comments.

The world went twitter mad in 2009, so now you can follow us and see what we are up, and we often will have useful tips or links to suppliers, venues and services.

Parking is easy within the large grounds and one enters the building to find many Tudor features like flagged stone floors and beamed interiors. These have been enhanced with the addition of a tasteful conservatory area and the use of comfortable lounge furniture in several areas. Clearly a lot of effort has gone into creating the right atmosphere of a quality country house – and to good effect.
